Go for the view. The staff are often inattentive. They offer a strange breadbasket with weird crouton looking crusts. I've never seen anyone eat them and can't believe they throw the huge basket away between diners. All of my table tonight had various fish only available deep fried. Fries were tepid, potato pancakes were barely seasoned and greasy. Salad was mostly iceberg lettuce. It was adequate, but nothing special. My waiter came after a long wait and other tables seated nearby were already on their salad before we were able to order. My potato soup was decent.

Wow! I can't believe no one has reviewed this place! I know for every little town there's a little restaurant where all the blue hairs gather. This seems to be the place, but for good reason! They always have something good at special. I've never got a meal here that hasn't been cooked to order. The food is always fresh. The salads are terrific. The pizza is always nice and hot and very good. Their clam chowder actually has clams in it if you can believe that! Make sure to try the fish and chips at least once! Just give me a favor and don't go there expecting some five-star meal. This is a small restaurant in a small town and it serves regular homemade food. I don't see this being the place for hipsters or people looking to expand their pallet. If you like fresh hot burgers, simple homemade dinners and a very friendly waitstaff, this is the place for you! Make sure you sit in the back of the restaurant. This gives you the best view to watch the St. Clair River lazily roll by. Sometimes you might even see the lake freighter or two!

Great view of the St. Clair river and the ferry to Canada. We went there on a Wednesday evening for dinner. I had seafood pasta and cabbage soup. Both very tasty with nice amount of shrimp, scallops and crab. The portions were generous. My companions had the taco salad and the cheeseburger. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The restaurant was clean and the staff friendly. Prices were about average for a place on the river. Very much a family oriented place.

Love this little place.....the view is so nice. The Wait Staff is always wandering and waiting nearby to refill or take away plates. The food is tasty. The Mariner Festival this weekend was a great reason to stop in for a bite. We plan on stopping in again when were on this side of the state. The Fish & Chips was light and tasty....not greasy. The Coleslaw was sweet and creamy. The Desserts looked so yummy, but after eating dinner, we were too full to share a dessert. We will be back....

Good location - love coming here for breakfast and watching the boats, freighters and ferry. The service is very kind and efficient. Food is good but sometimes portions are slim- dinner salad especially small. All and all a good choice for a family or group as their menu has something for everyone.

My friend took me out to dinner and she had selected the Riviera. It was my first time there and I had felt like pizza. We sat outside for about 15 minutes, but there were a lot of tiny insects and it was a bit breezy, so went asked our waiter if we could move indoors. He was gracious and got us a table by the window. I ordered my pizza and my friend ordered a chicken dish. The dinners came out quickly and my pizza was delicious! It's a nice view, overlooking the water and watching the ferry to and from Canada was entertaining. The menu has many selections of seafood, chicken, beef and sandwiches. The soup was real good and the salad fresh. I'd like to go back and try another meal and maybe this time, spend the entire time outdoors!

Was very disappointed. We were going to go to Marine City Fish, but thought we would try this place. Service was slow, many many regulars that were after church people. Seated with older couples which the room was so hot even our kids were hot and sweaty. Food was average, and anything that was battered was super greasy dripping on the plates. Not planning to go again anytime soon, so we will move on the the Fish Market next.

Surely enjoy the Riveria for breakfast and lunches! Staff joins in outer conversations chuckling all along - and some of their one-liners are better than ours-.gotcha! Meals great ! Breakfasts are sized for appetites large & small. Your coffee cup will seldom reach empty! (Nor your tea!) AND WHAT A VIEW IF THE RIVER AND WATCHING THE FERRY LOAD ..sometimes we hold our breath as the slip In a rather large semi ... But it all works just like the whole experience at the Riveria!!

Just came into this MoM n PoP family restaurant late May 2015 with my son Donovan , very cozy and great variety on the menu , very busy too !! Very good service , but Don ordered something he wasn't familiar with ( Gnocchis pasta ?? ) , took 4 bites and he was done!!!! But he didn't bother hitting it with salt n' pepper , My burger was cooked to order and excellent !!! Since Manny lost too Floyd in this past boxing match , Don paid for everything !!!

We had a party of 4 adults and 2 small kids for lunch on a weekday. We were visiting the area and stopped here on the recommendation of family in the area. We had a really good lunch. It was Meat Free Monday for me, so as much as I longed to try the gyro or a burger, I had the Greek salad and a side of onion rings to share. Kids shared a pepperoni pizza and the others had salads and the gyro. Both the salad and the onion rings were seriously delicious. The salad had lettuce, onions, tomatoes and beets tossed with a good dressing. Nothing wilty at all. I hadn't had beets in a salad before, but was pleasantly surprised. Husband's gyro included a sort of Greek salsa of tomatoes, feta and cucumbers that he didn't want so I added that in. The onion rings were great. Lightly breaded and obviously home made, not frozen. The pizza looked really cheesy and good too. The staff was attentive and friendly with the kids. The kids had a good time watching the boats and ferry come and go while we ate. A nice local restaurant overall. Well worth a try. Wish we had a similar place to go at home in NC.
